This is a collection of some of the most common questions we are asked about our delicious Fig Spreads. 

Q: What stores carry your products?

Q: How do you know your organic ingredients are really organic?
A: In addition to using only certified organic ingredients for our organic products, we send out all of our raw materials to be tested upon arrival. Organic fruits are sent to the lab and tested for pesticides. We only use ingredients that prove to be organically grown.

Q: Where are your organic ingredients from?
A: We source our organic ingredients both locally and regionally, from Croatia and other neighboring Mediterranean countries.

Q: A family member has Celiac disease. Are your products gluten free?
A: Yes, all our products are gluten free.

Q: Do your products contain nuts?
A: One of our newest items, Hazelnut Spread, contains nuts. There are nuts present in the facility.  We are very careful to avoid cross contamination and  thoroughly clean our equipment after every production run of any flavor.

Q: Are your products GMO free?
A: Yes, all our of products are nonGMO verified.

Q: Are your products vegan?
A: Yes.  No dairy or animal products are present in our spreads. All of our products are vegan.

Q: Are your products Certified Kosher?
Not as a rule.  However in certain wholesale bulk order situations, kosher can be arranged.

Q: What type of pectin is used in your spreads?
A: We use fruit pectin.

Q: What type of lactic acid is used in your spreads?
A: Our lactic acid is produced from the fermentation of sugar (corn).

Q: Are your products BPA Free
A: We use BPA NI (non-intent) packaging for our products.

Q: How long does your Fig Spread last refrigerated?
A: Once opened, our Fig Spread can last 3-4 weeks in the refrigerator.

Q: How long do your other spreads last refrigerated?
A: All of our fruit spreads last 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator after opening. The olive spreads last 3 weeks. The red pepper spread will last 4 weeks.
For all products, we recommend a 3-week shelf life in the refrigerator after opening, although they may last longer.
